Hana no Hana – a fine Perfumed Incense from Japan.

This item is the Excellent or higher-quality version of this range, featuring 3 fragrances; Luxuriant Rose, Fresh Lily  and Lovely Violet. Using premium ingredients, these Excellent sticks are blended to deliver a deeper and longer lasting fragrance.

In 1911, one of Nippon Kodo's gifted Incense masters called Yujir Kito created a new range by fusing together Japanese Incense making techniques with Western perfumery knowledge. The result was Hana no Hana and has been in production ever since. Now celebrating over 100 years in production, the packaging has been updated and the range refreshed, giving more stick options.

• The fragrance of Roses in full bloom. Blended with spicy top notes above the sweet tones from Rose and Vanilla. The base is high-quality Indian Sandalwood, with a little musk, making this a beautiful floral-woody scent. These sticks are brown/yellow in colour.
• The graceful and mildly sweet scent of fresh White Lilies. Blended with leafy green top notes, this is categorised as a green floral fragrance.  In addition to the high-quality Indian Sandalwood base with musk, this is dignified and fresh fragrance. These sticks are green in colour.
• The sweet and rich fragrance of Violets - a delicate and innocent scent in the floral-woody category. Violet top notes make this moist and powdery, built on the woody/musk base from high-quality Indian Sandalwood. These sticks are violet in colour.

• 30 Japanese Incense sticks, 10 of each fragrance (Rose, Lily & Violet)
• Burn time is approx. 10 minutes per stick
• Clean burning – no bamboo core
• Each stick is approx. 57m long (2.25 inches)
• These Excellent quality sticks come in a beautiful Paulownia wood box, in an outer card sleeve
